Frau Antje is a commercial figure used by the Dutch dairy union for the Dutch cheese. First time it appeared was in 1959 at the Green Week Agricultural Fair (Grüne Woche) in Berlin as a young girl, Antje, in national Dutch dress gave bites of cheese at the Dutch stand.
Today she is cult in the Netherlands and in Germany.
