Dennis Wilson's House (Former)

The main log-cabin-like home on the estate was built in 1923 by vaudeville performer and actor Will Rogers. The Beach Boys drummer Dennis Wilson moved into the estate decades later in 1968. A year before the Tate–LaBianca murders, Wilson allowed Charles Manson, who Dennis referred to as "the Wizard", and his bevy of young, female followers to reside at the house for about six months. Manson later threatened the safety of Dennis' children, resulting in him throwing Manson and his followers out. The house has been extensively remodelled since Dennis lived there.
